Not yet. The vendor states that its software covers all Google Ads campaign types, Search, Display, Shopping and Performance Max, and that Meta Ads is in the development pipeline. Microsoft Ads is not mentioned as supported or planned, so any spend outside Google is currently unprotected.
ClickSambo Alternatives: 7 Tools Ranked
Last updated: August 2026
ClickSambo protects Google Ads well for the money, including Shopping and Performance Max, and it is the only tool here with a mobile app that pushes an alert the moment an attack starts. It is also Google Ads only, prices per unique visitor rather than per click, and makes one promise no detection system can keep. These ClickSambo alternatives cover the gaps.
What ClickSambo does well
Start with campaign coverage, because this is where cheap tools usually fall down. ClickSambo states it protects every Google Ads campaign type, Search, Display, Shopping and Performance Max included. Plenty of tools at two or three times the price still describe Performance Max support as limited.
The blocking controls go past the basics too. Alongside automatic IP blocking and IP range exclusion for click farms, you get VPN, proxy and Tor blocking, custom click frequency thresholds, adjustable bot score thresholds, a trusted IP whitelist, and the option to restrict visitors running with JavaScript disabled. Analysis breaks down by keyword, placement and location, with company and ISP detection on each visitor.
Two features stand out. Conversion signalling works in both directions: fraudulent IPs are modelled back to Google so your ads stop reaching similar profiles, and high-quality interactions are modelled positively so the algorithm learns from real buyers. That treats the bidding signal as the asset, not just the budget. And the iOS and Android apps send a push notification when suspicious activity starts, with one-tap action. No other vendor in this comparison publishes an app at all.
Setup is two snippets and an account connection, stated as under three minutes, and there is a free savings report that needs no sign-up.
Three things to check before you commit
The first is reach. ClickSambo is Google Ads and nothing else. The vendor says Meta is "in the development pipeline" and does not mention Microsoft Ads at all. If any part of your budget sits outside Google, this tool cannot see it, and no plan upgrade changes that.
The second is the meter. Plans are sold on monthly unique visitors, starting at €39 for 5,000 on a single domain, rising to €319 for 200,000. Every other tool in this comparison counts ad clicks or ad spend. Unique visitors includes your organic and direct traffic, so a site with heavy non-paid traffic burns through the allowance faster than the click count suggests. The vendor's own feature table muddies it further by calling the limit "the maximum unique number of monthly clicks or visitors". Ask which one is metered before you pick a tier. Prices also exclude VAT.
The third is which tier actually blocks. ClickSambo describes Standard as detecting fraudulent clicks with "basic analytics and manual protection", and Pro as a "fully automated protection system". Read that way, hands-off blocking starts at €69 rather than €39, which changes the comparison considerably.
One more thing, offered as context rather than criticism. Asked whether it could ever block a real customer, ClickSambo answers "No", and says its analysis "never costs you a sale". Every detection system trades false positives against false negatives somewhere. Anura, at the enterprise end, publishes a separate "Warning" verdict precisely because borderline visitors exist. Treat an unqualified zero as marketing and test it on your own traffic during the 7-day trial.
Seven alternatives worth a look
All prices are the vendor's published list price, checked in August 2026.
ClickPatrol
The natural upgrade if the Google-only limit is the problem. One plan covers Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads and DV360 with unlimited domains and unlimited platforms, and Performance Max is supported rather than partially covered. Clicks are scored on more than 800 data points at a stated 99.97% bot accuracy, with setup on Google Ads taking about a minute and no code.
It also does the signalling job ClickSambo does, and goes further: DataProtector keeps invalid conversions out of the data Smart Bidding trains on, and remarketing lists stay clean. Traffic Security Starter is €59 a month on annual billing, so roughly the same money as ClickSambo Pro but without a visitor meter or a single-platform ceiling. The free Traffic Insights tier monitors without blocking. The trial is 7 days, matching ClickSambo's, and verifies identity with a one-time €0.01 charge. See the click fraud protection pricing page. Dutch-built, GDPR and CCPA compliant, Google-certified click tracker, 1,793+ businesses.
Clixtell
The closest match for the kind of business ClickSambo's own case studies feature: locksmiths, service companies and other call-driven local advertisers. Clixtell bundles call tracking and session video recording with click fraud work, so you can hear the lead and watch the session that produced it.
Detection is $15 a month for 5,000 ad clicks, with automatic Google Ads IP exclusions, custom rules and Account Defense Mode from $50. Agency at $75 covers unlimited domains and Google Ads accounts with native MCC support. It shares the search-first limitation: Google plus Bing per the vendor FAQ, no documented Meta protection. Our Clixtell review has more.
Fraud Blocker
The straightforward way to add a documented second platform. $79 a month covers 5,000 ad clicks on one site and $99 covers 25,000 clicks across 50 websites with ten team members, with 20 percent off annual billing. Meta is native. Microsoft Ads is not, so lists are exported to CSV and imported manually.
Fraud scoring, device fingerprinting, VPN and proxy blocking, custom rules, API access and white labelling ship on every tier, and an email spam add-on verifies form submissions. Protection stops once the monthly allowance is used. Our Fraud Blocker review goes deeper.
ClickGuard
The answer if a visitor or click meter is the wrong shape for your traffic. ClickGuard charges on monthly ad spend with unlimited clicks on every plan, so a busy site never runs out mid-month. Its exclusion logic is the most granular here: cross-account, geo, multi-targeting, VPN, IP range, non-human, behavioural and conversion based.
Lite is $74 a month for one website and one of Google, Meta or Microsoft, with a single month of data retention. Standard from $119 covers all three and Pro from $159 adds conversion tracking and six months of retention. See our ClickGuard review.
ClickCease
The most widely used option, as CHEQ's small business tier. Automatic IP blocking on Google, Meta and Microsoft Ads, WordPress bot protection, and HubSpot lead validation through Lead Shield. Agency permissions and white-label reporting from Pro.
From $99 a month billed annually to $349 for Advanced, with the advertised discount limited to three billing cycles. Its allowance counts all detected activity including internal page views, which is closer to ClickSambo's visitor-based meter than to a pure click count, and worth reading carefully for the same reason. Our ClickCease review unpacks it.
TrafficGuard
Shield is $49 a month for one domain on Google Search up to $30,000 of monthly ad spend, with a 30-day trial that runs in detection mode before it blocks. Narrower than ClickSambo on campaign types, since it is Google Search only at that price, and anything wider moves to a custom quote on the Scale plan.
What it adds is reach of a different kind: enterprise affiliate protection with cookie stuffing and forced click prevention, and mobile app protection with install verification. More in our TrafficGuard review.
Hitprobe
Worth testing because it costs nothing to start. Every feature is on every plan, free tier included, though free covers only 50 sessions and one site. Paid starts at $80 a month for 10,000 sessions across five sites, and you get Google, Meta and Microsoft audience exclusions, other networks through a Google Tag Manager event, session inspection with browser fingerprinting, an HTTP API and webhooks.
Two caveats run the other way from ClickSambo: the vendor states limited Performance Max and Shopping support, and each site holds only one account per ad network.
Price, meter and reach compared
The last column is the one to read first if you are pricing against ClickSambo Standard, because detection without automatic blocking is a different product.
| Tool | Entry price | Charged on | Ad platforms | Automatic blocking at entry price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ClickSambo | €39/mo | Unique visitors | Google only, all campaign types | Described as manual on Standard; automated from €69 |
| ClickPatrol | €59/mo | Plan tier | Google, Meta, Microsoft, DV360 | Yes, on Traffic Security plans |
| Clixtell | $15/mo | Ad clicks | Google, Bing | No, blocking from $50 |
| TrafficGuard | $49/mo | Monthly ad spend | Google Search | Yes, after a detection-mode trial |
| ClickGuard | $74/mo | Monthly ad spend | One of Google, Meta or Microsoft | Yes |
| Fraud Blocker | $79/mo | Ad clicks | Google, Meta; Microsoft by export | Yes |
| Hitprobe | Free, paid from $80/mo | Sessions | Google, Meta, Microsoft | Yes, on every plan |
| ClickCease | $99/mo | All detected activity | Google, Meta, Microsoft | Yes |
Which one to pick
Google Ads only, with Shopping or Performance Max in the mix, and a tight budget: ClickSambo Pro at €69 is genuinely competitive, and ClickPatrol at €59 covers the same campaign types with three more platforms and no meter.
A call-driven local business: Clixtell, for the call tracking and session recordings alongside the blocking, at $50 for the automatic tier.
Any spend on Meta or Microsoft: ClickPatrol, Fraud Blocker or ClickCease, since ClickSambo cannot reach those platforms today.
Heavy organic traffic alongside your ads: avoid anything metered on visitors or detected activity, which rules out ClickSambo and makes ClickCease's allowance worth checking. ClickGuard's spend-based pricing and ClickPatrol's uncapped plans both sidestep the issue.
Whichever you shortlist, use the free trials on the same traffic in the same fortnight and compare what each one flags. Two tools rarely agree, and the disagreement is more informative than any accuracy claim on a pricing page. Does ClickSambo work with Meta Ads?
How much does ClickSambo cost?
Standard runs from €39 a month for 5,000 monthly unique visitors on one domain, up to €319 for 200,000. Pro starts at €69 for 10,000 visitors across three to twenty domains. Enterprise starts at €149 with unlimited domains. Annual billing takes 20 percent off and all prices exclude VAT.
Is there a free trial for ClickSambo?
Yes, seven days on any plan with no credit card required. There is also a free savings report on the website that connects your Google Ads account and estimates fraudulent clicks without a sign-up. Plans can be upgraded, downgraded or cancelled at any time, with changes taking effect immediately.
Can click fraud software block real customers?
Any detection system can, because it decides from signals rather than certainty. ClickSambo answers this question with a flat no. Anura takes the opposite approach and publishes a separate warning verdict for borderline visitors. Test any tool on your own traffic and watch conversions during the trial.
