How do we detect fraud?

We have a database with millions of data collected over several years. Our algorithm was built on this data.

We screen every IP that clicks on an ad for 800 different characteristics, including browser type, data center (yes/no), country of origin, etc.

Based on the outcome of this screening, we can tell if an IP is suspicious or not. If it is, we then purchase additional data from a maximum of 8 suppliers and let the algorithm run again.

After this screening, every IP is placed in one of five categories between safe and fraudulent. We only block clicks we are sure are fraudulent.

Once we confirm an IP to be fraudulent, we block them.
