How financial institutions in the Netherlands can request VAT exemption
If your company is registered as a financial institution in the Netherlands, you’re generally exempt from paying VAT on our services.
However, due to the way our invoicing system is set up, you’ll need to submit a support request so we can process your exemption correctly.
What you need to do
1. Confirm your business type: Ensure your company is officially registered as a financial institution under Dutch regulations.
2. Send us a support request: Reach out via hello@clickpatrol.com. Your request should include:
- Your company name
- Your Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number
- Proof of registration as a financial institution
3. Receive our VAT-exempt number: Once verified, we’ll share a special VAT number that allows us to issue VAT-exempt invoices to your business.
Important notes
- This exemption only applies to financial institutions officially recognized under Dutch tax law.
- The VAT-exempt number is not publicly listed and should only be used by eligible businesses after direct approval from our team.
- Requests without adequate documentation may be denied.
